This is the Cosori Iconic, the new Premium stainless steel smart air fryer by Cosori. I love Cosori Air Fryers. I have been using their TurboBlaze air fryer for the past 2 or 3 years, so I was excited to get my hands on this new premium model. They sent me this one to me to test out, and I couldn’t be happier.
I absolutely love using the air fryer to cook food and have plenty of air fryer recipes here on my website. Some of the simplest things, like reheating day old french fries or pizza, are absolutely perfect for the air fryer, but I digress. Time for an in-depth review of a truly remarkable high-end air fryer.

Review of the Cosori Iconic Stainless Steel 6.5 Quart Air Fryer
First impressions, let’s take a look at the box that it came in. This thing is awesome, I always like it when the packaging is next level, to me it shows the company really cares about the product, to package it so well.
Of course, the box itself doesn’t mean much; it is all about the product inside the box. However, when the box is really nice, it just gives the product inside an added boost of appeal, at least for me, it does.
And here it is in all of its glory. It just looks awesome. The first thing I noticed as well is that the sleek design looks really nice on my counter. Keep in mind you need to keep 5 inches of space between the air fryer and the wall and above it when cooking.
Now let’s look at the components. It is 6.5 quarts, so a very good size, and just slightly bigger than my Cosori TurboBlaze. This is stainless steel and made with premium parts with very few plastic parts. The basket comes out, and on the inside, it is PFAS-free ceramic nonstick coating, so no chemicals, no Teflon, or anything like that.
The little crisper grate comes out, and it has little silicone feet in the corners. It rests about an inch from the bottom, allowing for ample airflow underneath it. Why does that matter? It simply means the food inside the basket will cook more evenly on the bottom. Sometimes, air fryers just cook the top, and the bottom doesn’t get as cooked unless you turn the food over. Now, keep in mind that with some recipes, you will still need to flip the food or shake the basket to promote even cooking.
Both the crisper plate and the basket are dishwasher safe, making cleanup a breeze, but I usually handwash my air fryer basket and plate. Also, since the Cosori Iconic air fryer is stainless steel, it is prone to showing fingerprints and palm prints. So you may want to pick up a stainless steel cloth and cleaner, if that bothers you. How Do Air Fryers Work?
Inside the air fryer is metal, and then up above you can see the heating element, and beyond that is the fan. So the way air fryers work is that at the top is a motor and a fan. That fan blows air past a heated coil, making the air extremely hot, and that hot air “mimics” frying of the food as it cooks it. It really doesn’t deep fry it, but it achieves results that are kind of close, hence the name air fryer. Think of an air fryer as a mini convection oven.
Cosori Iconic Cooking Features
Now let’s take a look at the touch screen interface. This one is very similar to my previous Cosori air fryer, with a super sleek design. This air fryer boasts some pretty awesome cooking features:
- Air Fry – This is the main feature that most people will use to cook their food. The default temperature is set to 385F and 10 minutes. But you can always adjust the temperature and the time.
- Roast – The roast mode is best used for cooking larger, thicker items like whole chickens, pork roasts, and root vegetables.
- Bake – The bake mode has a lower fan speed make it better for baking like cookies, cakes, etc.
- Dry – The dry mode is awesome, the default is 135F and 6 hours, which makes it perfect for doing things like beef jerky or dried fruit. So it acts like a dehydrator.
- Proof – The proof setting is for dough. This creates the perfect environment for the dough to rise. Add a little bowl of water to it, and you have your own little proofing box. This setting is great for colder climates, where your house temperature might be cooler.
- Reheat – This setting is a quick, basic setting that you can use for reheating pizza, French fries, etc.
Each feature is designed to make your recipes turn out great!

Cosori Iconic in Action!
Now I want to show it in action. Here are some tater tots and a piece of chicken. Both go in, set it for 360F/182 °C. And set it for 14 minutes and let it do its thing. They always turn out amazing. It is one of my favorite quick air fryer lunches or dinners to make.
