Learn how to make a slushie with any drink using the frozen magic squeeze cup. I was a bit skeptical at first when I saw this product, but it does actually work, and it works really well for making 1 serving slushies. It is a fun activity for the kids to do as well.
Ingredients

To make slushies at home you just need two simple items:
- Your drink of choice: You can use Gatorade, juice, energy drinks, soda, etc.
- Frozen Magic Squeeze Cup (Amazon Affiliate link, as an Amazon Affiliate I earn on qualifying purchases)

While this does appear to be and is gimmicky it works actually works well!
Homemade Slushie

In order to make a slushy using the squeeze cup you need first to freeze the cup. Just place it in the freezer for 4 to 6 hours before you want to use it.

Now take whatever drink that you want and fill the cup about 2/3 full. Don’t put too much in otherwise it will come out when you squeeze the cup.

Now is the fun part! Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze that slushy cup. As you squeeze the liquid sticks to the sides of the frozen cup and in turn freezes and then squeezing breaks the frozen bits up eventually all the liquid is frozen. Add a few more ounces of the liquid and squeeze some more, this will fill the cup the rest of the way.

The Frozen Magic squeeze cup also comes with a lid, some cleaning stuff, and a straw with a spoon attachment. Time to eat it! Enjoy! Have fun trying different drinks.
How long does the slushie last?
The homemade slushie stays pretty cold for quite a while, easily enough time to enjoy it without it melting quickly. I do not recommend putting it in the freezer, because it will freeze solid and it won’t really break apart easily when you try squeezing it.
