Apple Tart Pastry
This amazing apple tart uses a puff pastry. You can make it yourself or use a pre-made one. Puff pastry based desserts are some of my favorites! And they are incredibly easy to make.

- 2 to 3 apples cored and peeled
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. white granulated sugar 45 to 60g
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. butter, salted or unsalted cubed (45 to 60g)
- 1/4 cup of honey 85g
- Powdered Sugar for dusting, optional

Preheat the oven to 400 F/205 C. 30 minutes before you want to use it, remove the puff pastry from the freezer. Or make homemade puff pastry.
Unroll the puff pastry onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Take a knife and score the puff pastry 1 inch from the edge all around the pastry. don't cut all the way through the pastry.
Wash, dry, peel, and core the apples. Then cut them in half and slice them thinly. Place the slices of apples in three rows, slightly overlapping each other.
Sprinkle the top of the apples with the cinnamon and sugar. Then cut up the butter into chunks and add them to the top as well.
Bake the apple tart for 25 minutes. Remove it from the oven and then heat up a bit of honey or marmalade/jelly and then baste it on the top of the apples. Place the apple tart back in the oven and bake for another 5 minutes.
After the tart is done baking allow it to cool for a few minutes and then top with powdered sugar. Slice and serve. Enjoy!
